About this event

We are planning a party for Midsummer at the end of June. We’d love you to design and create wild costumes for this celebration.

Make your own outfits and accessories. Learn new skills, share traditions and meet friends in a relaxed environment.

Led by Lana Semashko, with local arts producers Terrestrial.

Open to all Displaced People supported by Frome Welcome Hub, as well as people who have come to Frome for any reason, from any other country, and would like to make new connections. Drinks & snacks provided.

Will there be activities for children?

Wednesday after-school sessions will be designed for adults and young people to work on fun crafts and designs together. (Thursdays mornings are for adults only).

Will there be food and drink?

Free hot drinks and snacks every week. For our first Wednesday session, we will provide food to welcome everyone.

Do I need to book?

You will always be welcome to just turn up, but it would be helpful if you book so that we can plan for numbers.

How do I find the venue?

The Welshmill Hub is 2 minutes walk from Welshmill Park, just along Park Hill Drive.
