All of us have witnessed really good presentations – and really bad ones! And so we all know the difference that a quality presentation can make to how the audience reacts. The truth is, great presenters are seldom born – most have learned some simple rules and techniques that they use to make their case more interesting and compelling. And you can too! In this one day session, we look at:
- First principles - deciding what you want from the presentation Telling your story – and layering your information
- Death by PowerPoint! What to include – and what to leave out
- Engaging your audience - body language and demeanour
- Beating the jitters – ways to calm your presentation nerves
