Event description
Join Birds of Paradise for this empowering session, designed to ensure that equality and access are fully embedded in your organisation.

About this event

In this insightful session, we'll help your organisation make sure that accessibility is a consideration embedded in your planning and producing processes for digital events, from planning all the way through to evaluation (and back again).

You will build your knowledge and confidence to inform action through BoPs Disability Equality Training, which looks at disability from a cultural context, and how we can create change within our own organisation's policies, processes and culture, to help you work in a more accessible way. You'll build knowledge and confidence around working with disabled people, and an understanding of why working in an accessible format is important.

This session will be followed by Making it Accessible, Act 2: In the Room which explores how to apply these principles to working directly with young people.

The YTAS Learning and Engagement programme is supported by funding from the Youth Arts Emergency Fund and the Gannochy Trust.
