Title: Making it Through… Ideas for Living and Working Well in the Current Context
Speaker: Dr Pooky Knightsmith
Event Date: 2 December 2021
Time: 10:00-11:00
Description
The pandemic has seen a steep rise in people experiencing depression and anxiety for the first time and for many of us it saw a resurgence of unhealthy coping mechanisms and mental health issues we’d previously experienced. In this session I’ll share some of my own experiences during the pandemic and explore how I went from not coping to (mostly) thriving both at home and at work. I’ll extrapolate some guiding principles that can help each of us to live well right now, or to support those in our care to do so.
