Making learning easier - A WMHD 2015 webinar
Wednesday, 14 October 2015 from 13:00 to 14:15 (BST)
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
The Mental Health In Further Education network (MHFE) is offering an online training session each weekday from 10th - 30th October to celebrate World Mental Health Day 2015.
On 14 October 2015, we are pleased to bring you:
Learning when you're managing your mental health problems isn't always easy. How can you learn when you feel anxious? How can you commit to a 6 week course when you don't know how you'll feel from one day to the next?
In this session, Sally Betts, from Ideas4Learning will explore some of the learning technology tools and Apps that can help providers support their learners. Sally will show tools identified by Community Learning and Skills HOLEX member organisations.
Sally and Barbara Nance have recently been co-ordinating the highly practical HOLEXTECHLEARN project. This 6-month initiative addresses some of the barriers identified in Catherine Sellars (2014) HOLEX Learning Technologies Survey Report.
The session will be from 1-2.15pm on Wednesday 14 October 2015.
