Learn about the myths and truths of making manga comics from award winning comic artist Jade Sarson, creator of Cafe Suada.

About this Event

In this workshop you will learn what manga is, how it's made, and techniques for creating your own with help from a professional creator. You will come away with your own completed manga page!

Saturday 12th October 12.30-2.30. Suitable for 13+ years. Materials provided.

Jade Sarson was nominated for Best Emerging Talent in the British Comic Awards in 2013, and in 2014 they won the Myriad Editions First Graphic Novel competition with an extract from their graphic novel For the Love of God, Marie!, published July 2016.

Jade's a keen exhibitor, workshop leader and caricaturist and can often be found at comic events such as Comic Con, Thoughtbubble and others.
