Event description

Description

Presenter: Dr Aimee Blackledge, LDC Development Programme

This workshop explores how to design and plan an achievable project for making meaningful impact with your research as a PGR.

Using Design Thinking processes, you will identify and map your key beneficiaries, devise methods for gaining deeper insights into their needs and expectations, generate innovative ideas for making an impact, build a prototype of your project and test your ideas via a peer review with fellow PGRs.

This is an ideal training opportunity for those interested in applying for the HSS PGR Development Fund or HLS Public Engagement Grant Scheme.

This collaborative and interactive session is part of the ‘public engagement’ development theme and offers opportunities to gain skills/behaviours outlined in the following Researcher Development Framework (RDF) subdomains: D3 Engagement and impact, A3 Creativity, A2 Cognitive abilities, C2 Research management, D3 Working with others, B1 Personal qualities, A1 Knowledge base and B2 Self-management.

Registration: You are recommended to use your University of Liverpool email to register on Eventbrite and then the calendar invitation will be added to your University calendar. We reserve the right to remove registrations of attendees who do not appear to be members of this University.
