Merton has many links to textile production and design, from Huguenot calico printers, to William Morris and the Liberty Print Works. Community arts group, Made in Merton, were keen to feature textile printing in the programme of celebrations for the borough's Diamond Jubilee.

Come and hear more about their colourful project, Making Merton, run in conjunction with Merton Heritage Service. You can also view the resulting Merton 60 artworks at the civic centre.

This talk, led by Portia Dadley from Made in Merton, will run from 11.15 to 11.35am and is part of the annual Heritage Discovery Day programme.
