In these sessions you will encounter essential mysteries of our existence, falsehoods of Western Culture and practical avenues to address our relationship with the planet.Each session begins at 7.30pm and will include a multimedia presentation with breaks for conversation. Participants are encouraged to attend all four sessions if possible, because they add together, embracing climate, nature and our own culture to create a unique, integrated picture of our current human predicament and its potential solution.

Organized by

Chris is known locally for his involvement in local environmental initiatives like Friends of Emersons Green Park, the community nature reserve and Emersons and Lyde Community Energy. In his latest course, Making Peace with the Earth, he draws from an extensive and varied career, not only as an environmental entrepreneur, launching initiatives such as the Bristol Pound, but also a research scientist and thinker who has published four books, the latest of which is entitled 'Imagination is the key to unlocking the environmental crisis'.
