We’re running a hands-on bag making workshop with Local brand Cold on a Sunday at the Grimbarians Studio in Grimbsy, on Saturday 26th July. Join us from Twelve o’clock, have a drink, and spend the afternoon making your own side satchel on our sewing machines.This time we’re doing things a little differently. Every bag will be made entirely from offcuts and leftover fabric from the Felix vests, Connor jackets, and Shep jackets. All repurposed, reattached, and stitched together, meaning the workshop will be 100% sustainable and nothing goes to waste.No sewing experience needed. We’ll show you how to cut, sew, and finish your bag so it’s strong, practical, and one of a kind.
The workshops are a fun and friendly space to meet and network with likeminded local creatives. All money raised from this workshop will help fund our Microfactory and studio operation- and allow us to give back to the community and put on more workshops teaching sewing and making skills.

Directions:It is advisable to have your ID with you, as you might be requested to present it at the docks’ security checkpoint.
- After the security checkpoint, go left at the roundabout.
- Take the first left after 500m when you see Alfred Enderby’s Smokehouse
- First right onto Fish Dock Road
- All the way to the end - and then right
- The Grimbarians Studio is on the right after 200m. Next to Turntable Gallery.
- Park anywhere in front of these buildings on the right.
