Event description

Description

This workshop is aimed at Parent/Carers who are supporting children and young people aged 11+, with additional needs, who feel anxious, worried or stressed.

Learning how to manage our feelings is an important life skill. While all children feel anxious sometimes, being worried, fearful or stressed too often can negatively affect their development. This session will provide: an introduction to understanding anxiety in children; ways to support them if they are worrying too much; and tips for looking after yourself along the way.

Our workshops are free but we would welcome a small donation to the charity (suggestion is £3), you can do this by selecting the donation ticket below. PLEASE SELECT ONLY ONE TICKET PER PERSON

Please note our workshops are aimed at Parent Carers, if you are a professional please contact us before booking a ticket admin@reachingfamilies.org.uk

We regret we are unable to accommodate any children at the workshop and request that you make alternative arrangements.
