Eligibility

For parents and carers of children of primary school age in West Sussex, who worry too much.

Course Overview

This workshops helps parents gain an understanding of anxiety and what it is, learn strategies to cope with anxiety in children (contain, externalize and distract) and manage their own anxiety in caring for their child.

Getting to the Venue

The nearest train station is Burgess Hill which is a few minutes' walk away from the venue. There is no free car parking at the venue but there are plenty of council run car parks just nearby.

Timings

It is essential that you arrive on time and complete the course. If this is not possible please inform us by email before proceeding to book at training@coastalwestsussexmind.org

Refreshments

Tea and coffee will be provided mid-morning.

Cancellations

Please notify us ASAP if you are unable to attend the course. As this is a funded programme our aim is to ensure all available places are taken up. Early notification may mean we can offer this space to someone on our waiting list.
