Description

To coincide with the presentation of Nesta and Collaborative Lab’s new report exploring the UK’s emerging collaborative economy, Nesta will be joined by a number of prominent figures operating in this space to discuss the collaborative economy in the UK.

The ways in which we consume, contribute and participate are changing. Amidst volatile markets and the rapid proliferation of digital technologies, a new swell of collaborative organisations and activities has emerged. The implications of these emergent models of exchange are significant for policy makers, entrepreneurs and for the public.

Join us in a discussion as we consider some of the challenges and opportunities presented by the collaborative economy.

Registration and Breakfast start at 09:00 with the event starting promptly at 09:30. The event finishes at 11:30.

There are only a limited number of tickets so to avoid disapointment register now.

This event kicks off The Unusual Suspects Festival, which is a four-day festival that will blend international expertise and innovation with local thinking and practice from across the UK and feature a collection of interlinked events that will draw out the ways in which collaboration and social innovation can work in sync- and ask how this can help address some of the most difficult issues we face in society today.

The Festival will take place in London during September 2-5, 2014. For more information on the Festival including the events on offer, please see www.theunusualsuspectsfestival.uk #unusualsuspects
