About this event
Making Sense of Wellbeing - Resilience skills and strategies
This twelve week course for parent-carers offers you the opportunity to explore some of the essential elements of wellbeing. Our personal and social wellbeing helps us to develop good relationships, feel connected to others and improves our resilience, empathy, and adaptability.
The course includes a blend of wellbeing and mindfulness workshops designed to help you enhance your relationship with your child with additional needs, build resilience, reduce stress and help you to relax.
Each session can be attended as a stand alone but we would encourage to you attend all if you are able to.
Session 12 Mindfulness Workshop - Mood changing exercises
Mindfulness can help you relate to moods differently and manage mood changes to help you relax.
Workshops are delivered via Zoom by parent-carer Esther Hunt, a registered and accredited Counsellor/Psychotherapist with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and a Mindfulness Teacher trained by the British Mindfulness Institute.
Please note this workshop is provided for parents and carers of children with special educational needs and/or disabilities in West Sussex only. We unfortunately aren't able to offer places to professionals on this workshop.
