About this event

  • Event lasts 45 minutes

Combining speaking/singing performance, documentary footage of singing groups in Middlesbrough and live analysis of vocal recordings, University of York researchers demonstrate the benefits of community singing and acting.

Why not come along and take part in this interactive session and find out how these activities improve wellbeing for vulnerable groups, restoring a connection to the voice.

This event is based on the interdisciplinary project ‘Exploring Vocal Authenticity through Documentary Film’ funded by YorVoice/SPARKS.
