Description

Are you interested in hosting forest schools, forest school training or planning a suitable space for a forest school. Could you use a local space to engage local schools and children in the local community. What is a Forest School? What do they need, what’s ideal and how can you make changes to ensure your space is child friendly and safe. Ideas, tips and examples of good practice.

Trainer: Maria Devereaux

Maria is passionate about good food and the environment. She has been an organic food grower for over 30 years and involved in community food projects for over a decade. A qualified social and therapeutic horticulturalist, she currently works for several charities and is project coordinator at The Wild Cat Wilderness. She is also a forest school leader and runs outdoor learning sessions for a local school and at the Wild Cat Wilderness @foodgrower
