Event description

Description

Juliette Jackson, founder of the Community Interest Company, SEADREAM, will talk about her PhD research into the environmental design of coastal structures. She looked at adding habitat to various hard built structures, in particular Plymouth Breakwater, Laira and Starcross and as a result produced guidelines for engineers that go towards mitigating environmental impact. Her studies led her to set up SEADREAM to deliver exciting science and engineering to instil passion, awe, knowledge, understanding and respect for the world around us.

You will have a chance to contribute to the Wembury MCA Advisory Group which helps fund the educational resources of the Wembury Marine Centre. A £2 donation is suggested.
