Event Details

From 2019 interaction with HMRC will become increasingly digital, with businesses using Cloud accountancy software packages to record business activity.

The end of the tax return is nigh, digital tax is to become a reality… are you ready?

Making Tax Digital (MTD) is a £1.3bn investment programme that will mark a fundamental change in the way that businesses interact with HMRC.

Spreadsheets will no longer be the norm and software will instead link directly to your business bank account, so transactions are automatically captured and included within your accounts on a daily basis.

No more receipts clogging up your desk drawers; you can now take a photograph of your petrol receipt and upload it directly to your accounting app, meaning your records are updated in seconds.

No more preparing sales invoices to be sent in the post; instead, you can create and send them directly to your clients from your phone, and your sales figures will be updated instantly within the software.

And you will never have to worry about back-ups of your accounting software again!

Also, see your accounting figures 24/7, 365 days a year all from your Smart Phone.

HMRC issued ‘Making Tax Digital’ in 2015, announcing these big changes for 2019 and eventually becoming fully digital by 2020; meaning that businesses have a time frame to move from the desktop to a cloud package.

To help make the process smoother Cambria For Business and Ellis & Co Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers will be holding an event entitled ‘Making Tax Digital – Have you Made the Switch?’ on Wednesday, March 6th at Cambria Business School, Northop.

Join John Moorhouse, and Anna Rowson-Smith as they explain the ‘ins’ and ‘outs’ of digital tax, followed by an accountancy software package demonstration.

In her demonstration Anna will show you how to:

∙         File VAT and self-assessment to HMRC

∙         Import bank transactions

∙         See how much tax is owed, and when it is due

∙         See how much money you owe, and how much money you are owed

Registration for this event will begin at 8.00am for a 8.30am start with an 10.30am finish

Complimentary tea/coffee and pastries will be available on arrival.

Mae rhyngweithio â HMRC bellach yn gynyddol ddigidol, gyda busnesau'n defnyddio pecynnau meddalwedd cyfrifon Cwmwl i gofnodi gweithgarwch busnes.

Mae hi bron yn ddiwedd y ffurflen dreth, treth ddigidol fydd hi o hyn ymlaen. Ydych chi'n barod?

Mae Gwneud Treth yn Ddigidol yn rhaglen fuddsoddi £1.3 biliwn a fydd yn nodi newid sylfaenol yn y modd y mae busnesau'n rhyngweithio â HMRC.

Nid taenlenni fydd y dull arferol bellach, yn hytrach bydd meddalwedd yn eich cysylltu'n uniongyrchol â'ch cyfrif banc busnes, felly caiff y trafodion eu cipio’n awtomatig a'u cynnwys yn eich cyfrifon bob dydd.

Dim rhagor o dderbynebau yn blerio droriau eich desg; gallwch rŵan dynnu llun o'ch derbynneb petrol a'i llwytho'n uniongyrchol i'ch ap cyfrifyddu, sy’n golygu bod eich cofnodion yn cael eu diweddaru mewn eiliadau.

Dim rhagor o baratoi anfonebau gwerthiannau i'w hanfon yn y post; yn hytrach, gallwch eu creu a'u hanfon yn uniongyrchol at eich cleientiaid o'ch ffôn, a bydd eich ffigyrau gwerthu yn cael eu diweddaru yn syth yn y meddalwedd.

Ac ni fydd raid i chi boeni o gwbl am gadw copïau wrth gefn o’ch meddalwedd cyfrifo byth eto!

Byddwch hefyd yn gallu gweld eich ffigurau cyfrifo 24/7, 365 diwrnod y flwyddyn i gyd o'ch ffôn clyfar.

Cyhoeddodd HMRC ‘Gwneud Treth yn Ddigidol’ yn 2015, gan gyhoeddi'r newidiadau mawr hyn ar gyfer 2019 ac yn y pen draw bod yn hollol ddigidol erbyn 2020; sy'n golygu bod gan fusnesau amserlen i symud o becyn bwrdd gwaith i becyn cwmwl.

I helpu gwneud y broses yn rhwyddach, bydd Cambria ar gyfer Busnes a’r Ymgynghorwyr Busnes a Chyfrifwyr Siartredig Ellis & Co yn cynnal digwyddiad o'r enw 'Gwneud Treth yn Ddigidol - Ydych chi wedi Newid Eto?’, ddydd Mercher, 6 Mawrth yn Ysgol Fusnes Cambria, Llaneurgain.

Ymunwch â John Moorhouse, ac Anna Rowson-Smith wrth iddynt esbonio hanfodion treth ddigidol, ac yna arddangos pecyn meddalwedd cyfrifo.

Bydd Anna yn dangos i chi sut i:

∙         Ffeilio TAW a hunanasesu i HMRC

∙         Mewnforio trafodion banc

∙         Gweld faint o dreth sy'n ddyledus, a phryd mae'n ddyledus

∙         Gweld faint o arian sydd arnoch chi, a faint o arian sy’n ddyledus i chi

Cewch gofrestru ar gyfer y digwyddiad hwn o 8.00am ymlaen. Bydd y sesiwn ei hun yn dechrau am 8.30am a gorffen am 10.30am

Bydd te / coffi a lluniaeth ysgafn ar gael wrth i chi gyrraedd.
