Making Tax Digital – why it’s important for ALL businesses
Event Information
About this event
Did you know that all businesses will need to be aware of upcoming tax reporting changes?
Join Beckenham Business Association for some online networking and to learn about how Making Tax Digital will impact your business with BBA member John O'Sullivan, Chartered Accountant, of Comptable Ltd.
Making Tax Digital is a key part of the government's plans to make it easier for individuals and businesses to get their tax right and keep on top of their affairs.
While Making Tax Digital is already in place for VAT registered businesses, it will apply to other businesses from April 2024. From that date, all businesses with a turnover above £10K will be required to keep all records in a digital format and use third-party software to submit their tax returns to HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC).
This means it’s imperative for all businesses to understand what they need to do and resolve any issues, so they feel confident going digital in less than 24 months from now.
