IPPR Report Launch - Making The Difference: The role of workforce development in breaking the link between school exclusion and social exclusion

Of the 85,975 people in prison today, 54,164 were excluded when they were at school. New IPPR research reveals the extent of personal and societal cost to this social mobility failure – and the workforce reform which can change this story.

Join us on Tuesday 10th October for the launch of our comprehensive report into exclusion from school. The launch event will include findings from the research; a panel of practitioners and young people on breaking the link between school exclusion and social exclusion; and an opportunity for supporters working across education, charity and government to discuss the next steps on making The Difference. Our panel will feature Edward Timpson, former Children’s Minister.

Doors will open at 17.30 and the event will run from 18.00 - 20.00 at 10th Floor, 80 Strand, London WC2R 0RL on Tuesday 10th October 2017.

We would be delighted if you could join us for this evening event. If you have any questions at all, please contact Maeve at m.cohen@ippr.org
