'MAKING THE IMPOSSIBLE POSSIBLE 3'
This workshop is open to everyone interested in working mindfully with movement but will be especially beneficial to yoga students and teachers, bodyworkers and massage therapists.
The Feldenkrais method deepens your sense of how you move, teaching you strategies to reduce effort and increase quality of movement and coordination. Feldenkrais helps you rediscover your innate capacity for graceful and efficient movement. Learning to move with less effort makes daily life easier. Because the Feldenkrais Method focuses on the relationship between movement and thought, increased mental awareness and creativity accompany physical improvements. .
'My father Dr Tuvia Gelblum was a lecturer of Yoga philosophy and Sanskrit at SOAS University. He developed Parkinson’s disease, so I set about to explore what could help him. I learnt special massage techniques in India and in the UK, including shiatsu. I also became a Yoga teacher as well as a practitioner of martial art styles from China and Russia.
My father also told me about classes he used to go to back in Israel in the 1950s with a man called Moshe Feldenkrais. He demonstrated some movements I was surprised he could do so well when frozen with Parkinson’s.
With all my classes and workshops I want to really share how this method of how I have married Yoga/Feldenkrais and my other experiences is really truly amazing and highly recommended by so many people'
Dan also teaches his own style of dynamic Hatha Yoga. His classes are much loved and students feel immediate and long-term benefits. Dan focuses on fine movements resulting in rapid progress in flexibility and strength. Students often remark at the ease with, which they can achieve challenging postures at the end of each class. He is a widely respected Yoga and Feldenkrais teacher and as well as his regular classses in NW London he runs workshops iinternationally.

Free parking, From the junction with the southern bypass take the A140 towards Ipswich and take the first turning on the right(signposted to Mangreen ). Mangreen Hall is a few hundred metres on the right, take the second entrance.
