A Social Media workshop giving ‘hands on’ practical help on setting up and maintaining secure websites and Facebook/Twitter accounts etc
- plan and create a social media account – discussing maintenance, compliance, policy and any issues arising (participants are encouraged to have thought in advance about what they want from social media e.g. promote their group or engage with a particular audience)
- demonstrate how you can direct users to other social media accounts e.g. blog, forum, website, Twitter, Facebook etc
*Participants may bring their own laptop

For anyone who is considering using Social Media to promote their group or organisation’s activities as either information sharing/engagement tool or want to get more out of social media for social networking.
