A two hour workshop to help you collaborate in the modern world and make things happen, with a focus on learning to ‘work out loud’. Are you seeking purpose and change in your own life, looking to improve collaboration in your workplace, or working with others for social good? We'll introduce you to tried and tested tools, technology and behaviours to help you deliver meaningful, sustainable change.
The course is built around four core elements of making things happen:
1 Knowing what is important to you: developing clear purpose and goal
2 Learning at your best: having a growth mindset, getting the support and resources you need
3 Good relationships: giving and receiving good feedback; understanding others; building trust and shared purpose.
4 Putting your ideas and work ‘out there’: on your own, with a buddy, in a group, online, in the spotlight and making it a habit.
Our courses are open to all. We want each course to be a great opportunity to clarify your own goal(s), connect with other people, to learn from each other and explore new ways we can live, work, collaborate and make change.
The course takes place at ThinkRiseMCR on Deansgate, a shared working space with easy access to local transport routes and good cafe.
From 10am to 12 midday, with option to stay on for informal networking afterwards. The day will include:
Introduction to key thinkers in delivering meaningful change.
An introduction to a core toolkit for making things happen.
Opportunity to work out loud with others, to develop your own change plan and take steps towards your own personal goal with support from practice group and coach.
Time to reflect and share your experiences and learning with other participants and explore further opportuities for connecting, contributing, collaborating and making change together.
We will also give you:
A lovely little certificate on completion
A personal invite to the June 2017 #woltogether Gathering - an opportunity to share achievements and experiences from the ‘working out loud’ community we are facilitating with Helen Sanderson Associates.
