WeCanMake is excited to be hosting a celebration event at Rodford Meads, and you're invited!
We'll be celebrating the Making Together Summer Programme with a photo exhibition and hands-on activities, as well as a shared meal. We'll also be sharing an update about the planning application for the Rodfords Mead site - a mix of six homes and community space for the neighbourhood, designed in collaboration with local residents.
The Making Together Summer Programme
Over July and August, we held a series of workshops where we got together with residents to explore local biomaterials and re-use materials to design, prototype, create and build together. Along with hands-on making, we enjoyed a shared meal at each workshop and rehearsed how we can come together to create thriving neighbourhoods with deep relationships to land, materials and each other.
You are warmly invited to join us for the final event and celebration, where we'll also share an update on the planning application for the site, which comprises six affordable homes for local people and a community space at ground floor.
