Event description

Description

As the world becomes more and more connected, the ability to work across cultures is becoming increasingly sought after by employers. Join us for a panel discussion about the importance of cultural intelligence, intercultural work experience and the development of international networks in the global job market.

Our panellists:

David Howlett – Head of Policy, Global Resilience Partnership (seconded from the Department for International Development). The Global Resilience Partnership is an open alliance of public and private organisations working together to help millions of vulnerable people better adapt to shocks and stresses, and invest in a more resilient, prosperous and sustainable future. The GRP Secretariat is hosted by the Stockholm Resilience Centre.

Andy Coxall - Chief Executive, Common Purpose Student Experiences. Common Purpose runs leadership development programmes across the UK that inspire and equip people to work together across boundaries.

Shaun Butcher - UK University Partnerships & Marketing Manager, CRCC Asia. CRCC Asia provides award-winning internship, study, travel and consulting services.

This event is exclusively for University of Leeds postgraduate students and researchers.
