Event description

Description

In this course spread over two Tuesday evenings, you will carefully craft your own timeless and stylish stoneware ceramic fruit bowl. In the first class you will explore working with clay, using a mould to shape your bowl, hand building it delicately. I will then take each piece to have its first biscuit firing in her studio and returned for glazing and decorate in the second week.

Each bowl will be around 22cm diameter, the perfect size and shape to adorn your table as a decorative and functional fruit bowl, unique serving bowl or impressive salad bowl. This workshop will be a slow and mindful session, enjoying the tactility of working with clay.

When your bowl is finished after it's final glazing it can be collected at Blackhorse Workshop. The ticket price includes clay, tools, two kiln firings, glazes and expert artist tuition.
Light refreshments will be provided.

Workshop time: 19h - 21h

Dates: 3 + 10 of October

This tailored workshop is in high demand so please book your ticket promptly to avoid disappointments

If we don't reach the minimun number of people, sadly the workshop will be cancel and the money will be returned to you within 3 workings days.
