About this event

We are often told that, if only we could master our time and be more productive that it will help us acquire everything we deem to call "success". But what if the practises that really maximise our success are in fact - working on less, resting more, and cultivating patience?

As social entrepreneurs, we all want our benefits and value to society to be far-reaching, even to outlive us. However, to accomplish this we need to give up the belief that we can ever really master our time and accomplish everything in one short lifespan. We have to become more aware of our limitations and choose to complete only the work that holds the most meaning for us and surrender any impossible ideas that we can do everything.

Your social enterprise and your life outside of it should be fertile with energy and joy but it's likely at this moment or at some point, it will feel like a revolving door of overwhelming obligations, stressful tasks, and commitments, punctuated by exhaustion. It's a vicious cycle that does nothing to serve your business, the people you are helping and most importantly, yourself.

In this workshop, we will challenge traditional "time management" principles. You will learn and discover new processes to empower yourself and your time. Ultimately, you will receive a framework to help you make better time decisions along with the tools to drive your most important projects.

Note: This workshop is inspired by the book, Four Thousand Weeks - Time and How to Use it by Oliver Burkeman
