Drawing from Russell’s extensive experience in bodywork, somatic movement, anatomy, and dance. No prior dance experience is required - participants can engage at their own level of ability.

Dr Russell Maliphant OBE is an internationally acclaimed choreographer, movement specialist, and researcher, recognised for his pioneering approach to movement and somatic practice. His extensive background in ballet and contemporary dance, combined with expertise in biomechanics, martial arts, and fascia studies, has shaped a distinctive methodology that enhances movement efficiency and expression. His PhD research further deepens his innovative approach, informing both his choreography and teaching, offering dancers and movement practitioners a profound understanding of physicality, flow, and dynamic articulation.
