A night of free music on August bank holiday weekend!

Mallavora will be headlining The Star Inn, Guildford on Friday 23rd August, supported by a group of local talents. This will be the band’s debut show in town, alongside fresh upcoming acts - you don’t want to miss this one!

Mallavora are Birmingham’s flagship three-piece: British rock at its finest, with punk influences to be found in both sound and performance, powerful lyrics and guitar tones appreciative of Gallows and Nirvana. The new direction for the band has proven successful already; with more live shows than ever before including headline gigs and a mini UK tour. Stellar reviews and airplay from BBC Introducing and Planet Rock alongside gigging plans across the UK and Europe make for an exciting future for Mallavora.

Risking Nostalgia emerged from London in the summer of 2016; collecting blues-esque styled rock rhythms under a chorus of soaring lead guitar, the band is described as combining old with the new to bring about a fresh sound inspired by innovators such as Queens of the Stone Age and The Cure.

IWitness are an Alt Rock 5-piece packing melodic vocals, punchy guitar and drums that hit you in the gut. With influences found from Lower Than Atlantis, Don Broco, and Deftones, their passion for music is sure to be shared through their performances.

Calum Lintott is definitely one to watch: His mix of indie pop and upbeat charisma is infectious throughout his performances, whether playing solo or accompanied by his bad. His powerful vocal delivery driven by undeniably catchy melodies continue to wow crowds in the south and sell out shows. His new single ‘My Dear’ hit peoples ears worldwide on the 26th April 2019.
