Event description
This workshop forms part of a series of events focusing on Management, AI and Healthcare.

About this event

This workshop will bring together a community of scholars interested in AI in healthcare across all management disciplines.

The workshop is open to PhD students, post-doctoral and early career researchers in a broad range of management areas, including strategy, organisational behaviour, information systems, operations and technology, and marketing. Participants are welcomed regardless of their preferred theoretical perspective(s) and research methods/approach.

The workshop will centre on a Panel discussion in which participants will be able to contribute questions in advance and in real-time during the event. Participants will also be able to engage in deeper conversations with panelists and other attendees through breakout group discussions.

The event will be chaired by Dr Angela Aristidou, Assistant Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship at the UCL School of Management, and Dr Giulia Cappellaro, Honorary Senior Research Fellow at the UCL School of Management and Assistant Professor at the Bocconi University’s Department of Social and Political Sciences.

We are pleased to be joined by three expert panelists:

Professor Gina Neff - Professor of Technology & Society at the University of Oxford and Executive Director of the Minderoo Centre for Technology & Democracy at the University of Cambridge

Dr Bart Vanneste - Associate Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship at the UCL School of Management

Dr Luciana D'Adderio - Chancellor's Fellow in Data Driven Innovation at the University of Edinburgh and Turing Fellow at the Alan Turing Institute for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence

This event is free to attend.

The workshop will be hosted online. Details for joining the workshop will be circulated to participants before the event.

Please note: workshop participants will be screened to ensure representation across management areas, theoretical perspectives and methodological strengths to ensure discussion is balanced across these areas. Unfortunately, we therefore cannot guarantee everyone that registers will be able to attend the event if we have overrepresentation in some areas. We will contact everyone that has registered to confirm their attendance prior to the event.
