About this event

This study day is a clinical update in the area of nutrition, gastrointestinal disorders and disordered eating and eating disorders.

Aimed at Nutritionists and Dietitian's to understand and recognise the link between disordered eating, eating disorders and gastrointestinal functions and how as health professionals we can support with this. It is aimed at those professionals that have been working with clients with disordered eating, gut health and eating disorders to assess eating patterns and how they may relate to gut health and symptoms. The course will clearly demonstrate roles of the MDT and the difference between Dietitians and Nutritionists.

After the course you will have the information to complete a nutritional assessment which takes into account gut symptoms and disordered eating behaviors. You will be aware of what first line nutritional advice is appropriate for people suffering with gut symptoms. You will be able to develop an understanding of what a comprehensive nutritional plan looks like within the scope of your practice to support an individual.

The study day is taught by highly specialist Dietitians and has been endorsed by the Association for Nutrition (EN316)
