Management of Lone Worker Health and Safety
Fri 15 December 2017, 09:30 – 16:00 GMT
Lone workers make up a substantial proportion of the national workforce, and many are either self-employed, or otherwise, employed with a particular status suiting their employer.
Many are exposed to a miriad of risks, and it is important that they are aware of these, and that everything is done to protect those who work alone from Postmen to Estate Agents, through to Construction Workers to Security Officers.
This series of seminars will highlight legal requirements, best practice and a number of areas where organisations need to take full account of their lone workers, including risk assessment for lone, transient and mobile workers (including freelancers, etc), Lone working practices, driving at work, communication and accident reporting, principles and practice in risk assessment, first aid, manual handling and risk mitigation practices.
