Albyn Hospital is pleased to invite you to attend our online educational event presented by Mr Kapil Kumar, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon who specialises in shoulder conditions. Supporting Mr Kumar will be David Fanthorpe, Senior Physiotherapist, who will be presenting an element on shoulder rehabilitation.

The presentation starts at 18:30 with Q/A opportunities throughout. The event finishes at 20:00 (approx).

This educational event is tailored for a GP and Physiotherapist audience. A CPD certificate will be emailed to all attendees post-event.

The event will be hosted via Microsoft Teams and a joining link should be included. We will also send the joining link to the email address you used to register a few days before the event.

About Mr Kapil Kumar:

Mr Kapil Kumar graduated from University of Delhi and completed Postgraduate Training in Delhi, before moving to UK in 1995.

He then went on to completed Higher Surgical Training in Trauma and Orthopaedics in the North of Scotland Rotation. Further subspecialty fellowships in Shoulder and Elbow Surgery were undertaken at Reading Shoulder Unit and Wrightington Hospital both of which are internationally recognized centres of excellence for Upper Limb surgery.

Have been a consultant in Aberdeen since 2007, and his practice is focused on Shoulder and Elbow surgery.
