Our ‘Management of Sickness Absence ‘ event is on Tuesday 7th October at 12.30pm.

In this session we will look at the law and good practice on managing sickness absence. This overview will include:

• Things to consider when obtaining medical advice

• Avoiding discrimination claims

• Things to consider when managing an employee's return to work.

The session will be facilitated by Nathan Andrews. Nathan is a CIPD level 7 qualified and accredited Employee Relations Manager. He has over 18 years’ experience of working with senior leadership teams of UK small-to-medium sized enterprises, providing expert HR and employee relations advice, with a proven track record of resolving complex and difficult employee situations.

Nathan has a deep understanding of UK employment law and regulations coupled with proven project management expertise and ability to implement change. He is the Head of HR Services at Frettens Solicitors.
