Manager as Coach: Micro-coaching tools

We use insights from the Solutions Focus body of work to help managers have short, productive, and action oriented conversations - and enjoyable performance reviews!

This session will introduce you to the Leader as Host roles from the work of Mark McKergow and Helen Bailey. We’ll also explore some classic SF prompts, questions and frames that help shift “problem focus” to more generative and resourceful states of mind. Scaling, Exceptions, the Miracle Question and other conversational tools will be explored together.
