Who should attend?

Anyone working with children or in agencies that deliver services to children, including volunteers

Aims:

  • Highlight the role of the Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO) in managing concerns of suitability and allegations
  • Gain an understanding of the process of managing allegations against professionals

Outcome:

  • Participants will have improved confidence of knowing what to do when presented with a child safeguarding allegation against a professional
