An informative, engaging workshop with a particular focus on understanding the role anger plays in our lives and ways to overcome it.

About this Event

You will learn strategies to better manage your anger and irritation in everyday life and explore a range of responses to anger triggers and social attitudes toward it.

This Free Workshop is ONLY for people who are 18 and over and live in the borough of Merton or are registered with a GP in Merton. Merton postcodes include: CR4 , CR7, SM3, SM4, KT3, SW16, SW17, SW18, SW19 & SW20

As we know, anger is a strong emoting, which we all experience in our lives. But it could be frustrating if we find hard to manage it and could impact on our wellbeing. The way we experience anger and react to it can be different from person to person.

Our aim of this workshop is to support you to understand about anger and overcoming barriers, developing self-esteem and social interactions and also to find solutions, techniques and learn practical skills to improve your own wellbeing.

You will learn coping strategies to manage your anger and irritation in everyday life and also to explore range of responses to anger triggers and social attitude towards it.

We, Merton Wellbeing Team, are focused on improving emotional and physical health of the Merton residents. Our goal is to provide more flexible, inclusive and socially adapted service for the borough while lowering the social stigma and discrimination related to mental health and wellbeing.

When signing up to attend this workshop, you will be required to complete a registration form and a wellbeing questionnaire over the phone with a member of the Wellbeing team.
