Managing Anxiety

A series of sessions to enable you to explore and manage anxious thoughts feelings and physical symptoms.

8, 15 & 22 November 2017 @ 14:45-16:15 (you only need to book the first session to secure a place on the course)

This three week course will build your understanding of anxiety, and give you some simple and effective ways to manage yourself in the face of things that worry you, make you fearful or bring you stress. From improved concentration to more rewarding relationships, having the ability to recognise and manage your anxiety will bring many benefits for your student life, and it will also equip you for many years to come. On the course you will be invited to share some of your personal experiences if you want to, but you will also have the option of staying quiet in the group and working individually if that is your preference.

The course has a friendly informal atmosphere, and runs several times during the academic year.
