About this event
We’re happy to announce the launch of our new LGBTQI+ Young People’s Project, designed to focus on the mental and emotional health of young people withing the LGBTQI+ community. We are extending an invitation for our launch event on Thursday 11th March at 3pm. Please feel welcome to join us for a journey through some guidance and discussion on anxiety management, to hear some ideas for our new service, and most importantly, the chance to tell us what you would like to see from our new service.
In the session we'll share some tools and techniques can help us understand and better manage our experience and feelings. We'll begin to consider ways to cope with difficult thought patterns or for when you are worrying too much about things in the future.
We are also trailing some new ways of delivering online mental health support, our aim is to make them more engaging, more interactive and to develop on our understanding of how to create supportive, online, community connection.
The focus of this launch even is you, the participants….. we want to hear what you think of our ideas, and how we can best design and deliver a unique effective service that serves the needs of LGBTQI+ young people.
Thank you and we look forward to seeing you,
Abby, Carlo and Miia – The Rainbow Mind Young People Project Team.
