Anti bulling and harassment in media production
Research commissioned by UK based The Film and TV Charity, published in February 2020, which collected data on more than 9,000 workers, revealed that bullying remains highly prevalent – across all sub-sectors, 84 per cent had experienced or witnessed bullying or harassment, with even higher figures in some sub-sectors.
If your are responsible for managing people or teams in production, then you really should understand the essential requirements to help brief and manage your teams.
The free one hour, online session introduces a set of key points to help you manage and promote and inclusive working environment. We discuss your role in introducing and managing good practice and provide links to handbooks specifically written for film, TV and games.
The aim of the session is to introduce good practice in managing anti bullying and harassment production management.

• Managing bullying and harassment
• How to prevent bullying and harassment
• Q and A discussion
The session is aimed at those who work in television or film production and often have to manage others.
About Alec
The speaker is Alec Mchedran of Skills Channel TV, a well known facilitator and learning specialist in the creative sector. Alec works with a wide ranger of clients including Directors UK. The Guild of British Camera Technicians and Creative England. He is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD and is chair of Screen Northants.
