Managing Challenging Behaviour Workshops for those working with young people aged 5-18
About this event
Offered as part of our Enhanced range of training, and available as either an open workshop or as a series of two bespoke sessions for whole staff teams, the workshop helps delegates to:
- Address recent research that highlights the concern from schools who believe that behaviour in the classroom is getting worse, we have developed a range of introductory open or bespoke workshops for those working with young people of school age.
- Support staff who experience stress and frustration related to behaviour problems and to help them understand how behaviour is a form of communication to improve outcomes using evidence based approaches.
- Understand the nature of challenging behaviour as communication
- Understand challenging behaviour in the context of the developing brain
- Explore possible strategies for managing challenging behaviour
