Managing Challenging Behaviours for children living with acquired brain injury
About this event
Trainer: Katie Burns - Highly Specialised Clinical Psychologist (Children's Acquired Brain Injury Consultation Service, Belfast Trust)
Children often communicate their needs to us through their behaviour, and this is especially true after a brain injury. In this workshop we will consider the different types of needs that a child with a brain injury might be communicating, and the ways in which we can change their behaviour by meeting that need.
If you would like to ask the panel a question in relation to managing challenging behaviours in ABI you can email intern@braininjurymatters.org.uk prior to the event.
Please note times may be subject to change.
