1-Day Managing Complex Restorative Practice Cases: Skills Training
This training course, presented by world leader in the field - IIRP, prepares experienced restorative practitioners to manage sensitive & complex restorative practice cases.
Students will receive PDF Pre-reads of the paper ‘Preparation for Serious Crime – Considerations and Sensitivities’ (Adapted, revised and updated from a paper written by Terry O’Connell the Director of Real Justice Australia by Les Davey the CEO of IIRP Europe) plus related papers as details in the Flyer and Agenda and other useful handouts and resources.
As well as circle discussion on the preparation for and conferencing of sensitive and complex cases, the day will also include case studies, role playing and the award winning documentary ‘Facing the Demons - exploring conferencing as a response to murder - followed by circle discussion.
The objective of the 1-Day Managing Complex Restorative Practice Cases: Skills Training, is to prepare experienced restorative practitioners for the management of sensitive and complex restorative practice cases.
The course focuses on working restoratively with sensitive and complex cases, following best practice guidance in this important aspect of restorative practice.
