Description

Most employers have policies and procedures in place for discipline and grievance. But there seems to be an over-reliance on these for resolving conflict situations, rather than focusing on developing the interpersonal skills of managers. They have found at all levels of management, having difficult conversations and managing conflict are very clearly seen as the two top leadership challenges.

At this workshop we will cover: –

  • Achieve the 3 ‘R’s – that’s not in the academic field!

  • Recognising workplace conflict – knowing the ‘signs’ and ‘symptoms’ to look out for.

  • Responding to workplace conflict – aware of your responsibilities as a manager in responding to it.

  • Resolving workplace conflict – have practical tips for resolving, including how to handle

  • difficult conversations.

Time: 9am to 12.30pm
Cost:
