Free Workshop: Managing Difficult Behaviour in Group Settings
Venue: To be confirmed, it will be in Lewisham
Join us for an interactive and insightful workshop designed to support facilitators and group leaders in Lewisham to enhance their skills in managing difficult behaviour. Whether you’re a paid staff member or a volunteer, this session will provide you with the tools and techniques needed to navigate challenging group dynamics.
This will be the second session we have run on this topic, following popular demand. Here's what previous participants said about the first session we held in March...
"I liked the conversations created from the workshops and the informal discussions that we had to share ideas and values"
"Good opportunity to learn directly from mental health professionals"
Do come and join us in June to access this free training (you do not need to have attended the March session to join).
What you’ll learn:
- Role-playing and observation of real-life examples
- Why participants may react unexpectedly and how to manage these situations
- Strategies for managing anxiety and other emotions
Who should attend? This training is designed for anyone who leads or facilitates community group sessions in Lewisham, including staff and volunteers. Whether you're part of a small grassroots initiative or a larger organisation, you'll leave this session equipped with practical strategies to handle difficult behaviour and improve group interaction.
