Why do we find some conversations more difficult than others and why do we avoid them? Difficult conversations can be scary because the stakes are high and there is a real cost to them failing. When we push with our words it's likely that we will get a push back and so the conversation goes on in a negative manner.

Is your goal to simply deliver your message or is it to develop understanding of the other person's perspective and find a mutually acceptable solutions?

This one day workshop will give you / your team the practical skills to engage more positively and confidently in those difficult conversations and undertake them more effectively. The workshop works on the premise that you / your team already have good communication skills and that your role requires to have difficult conversations with colleagues, the general public, staff members, etc.

The training we provide is based on our practical application of the techniques in our day to day work as mediators and conflict coaches, where difficult conversations form part of our role. As a result, the trainers are able to offer valuable insights into real life case examples where the techniques have been used to great effect. All our workshops are highly interactive, which enables delegates to put skills learnt into practice on the day.
