Description

Managing Difficult Volunteer-Related Situations and Volunteer Co-ordinators' Forum

Volunteers can make a significant contribution to the smooth running of a voluntary organisation and following best practice in involving volunteers can ensure that difficulties do not arise. However,it is impossible to mitigate against all potential problems and there will be times when difficult situations do occur and we need to be confident in such situations.

This bite size training will bring together learning from our best practice training throughout 2018 and apply this knowledge, in terms of dealing with difficult situations. Delegates are therefore asked to submit anonyimised real life examples of a difficult situations they have experienced, in advance of the training, so we can work through some actual cases.

The training will be followed by a 30 minute Volunteer Co-ordinators' Forum.

This training will be delivered by Reetu Sood.

Who should attend:

Volunteer Co-ordinators or anyone else who is responsible for recruiting, managing and supervising volunteers.

Places are usually limited to two per organisation.

Cost:

Free - this session is fully subsidised for any not-for-profit, social enterprise or social purpose business organisation demonstrating that it provides services to a significant number of Richmond beneficiaries.

Please contact us for if you are from an organisation operating outside of Richmond and would like to attend. Our usual charge for half-day training is £40 per delegate.
