Join us this summer for BBQ style food and jazz and hear from Sebastian Conran on the importance of design and innovation in research collaborations.

Sebastian Conran is one of Britain’s leading product designers. He works alongside researchers to promote and embed best-practice in design and production of high quality prototypes. Consequently investors and industrial partners are able to conceptualise a market ready product and give insight into potential manufacturing processes.

Come along and find out more about the projects Sebastian has worked on and the benefits it has brought to industry and academia.

A full agenda will be made available closer to the time.

The Managing Directors’ Club supports growth and prosperity in our region through knowledge exchange and partnerships

This event is part of a week-long festival showcasing Sheffield City Region’s innovation capability in healthcare, including:

Organised by

Innovation Network South Yorkshire - A partnership between the University of Sheffield and Sheffield Hallam University to support regional growth.

We welcome South Yorkshire’s academics, organisations and businesses to join our free events and activities to network with regional thought leaders and build links with both Sheffield Universities to innovate and drive future collaborations.

The Innovation Network provides an opportunity for attendees to hear about the latest topics, challenges and priorities for South Yorkshire, from experts in South Yorkshire. Our team sits across both Sheffield Universities and works with the regional Chambers of Commerce and key partners in the business, public and third sectors to create a mutually beneficial network. We connect people to share knowledge and help our region grow in ways that are good for the economy, the environment, culture, and skills.
