Friends Who Are Going
Event description

Description

This workshop is aimed at the following audience:

  • Leaders who are engaged in supporting delivery of system transformation
  • HRDs
  • Learning and Development Leads
  • Equality and Diversity Leads
  • OD Practitioners
  • Leadership Programmes and GMTS Grad Alumni
  • GMTS Programme and Placement Managers
  • Freedom to Speak Up Guardians
  • Team Leaders

We sometimes have the view that meetings are getting in the way of what we’re really meant to be doing.

Yet they are essential in order to make decisions, collaborate effectively, share information, involve everyone who needs to be involved and demonstrate public accountability.

The workshop will cover:

  • Planning and preparing meetings.
  • Beginning well-examining how to open the meeting, set the tone and establish both the ground rules and your authority as chair.
  • Leading the meeting.
  • Working with the group dynamics-using an approach based on Kantor's four-player model.
  • Ending well.

Please be aware that while it is free for you to attend this workshop, each space represents an investment of £225. Please refer to our cancellation policy here
