Event Information
Description
Please note new date: Tuesday 20th November 2018
This two-part morning seminar and afternoon walking tour led by Cambridge City Council's conservation officers is an opportunity to discuss and visit contemporary developments built in the last 10 years in their historic urban contexts, and understand how the city seeks to balance historic and contemporary design through policy.
The event will be useful to local authority officers and councillors with planning and design portfolios, conservation officers, developers, architects, urban designers and planners in private practice, town and parish councillors, and civic society members.
FAQs
Why is there a range of ticket prices?
Historic Towns and Villages Forum members can buy members' tickets, and as we are working in partnership with Cambridge City Council and Cambridge Past Present and Future, we have special rates for their members too. All delegates can opt to attend the seminar but not join the walking tour later. Why not join the HTVF or CPPF and save money!
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Cambridge has great public transport options, including Park & Ride facilities, and so please try to use those, as parking in the city centre is limited, see this link for all travel options: https://goo.gl/maps/xCrwd5NJQyT2
